Eggplant is a short-day plant, has a long growing season, and does not tolerate wind and drafts. The best predecessors for eggplants are cereals, legumes, and almost any vegetable, but not from the nightshade family. This crop also responds well to growth-stimulating drugs, such as humic fertilizers and bacterial fertilizers.
Taking into account the needs of eggplant for foliar feeding, experts have developed a liquid plant growth regulator with a complex composition Humisol for eggplant. Humisol is an organic fertilizer based on vermicompost. For nightshades, it is used in open ground and in drip irrigation systems, especially in hydroponic greenhouses on artificial substrates.
Foliar feeding of eggplants is carried out at least three times per season: 2 weeks after planting, before flowering and at the stage of ovary formation. For one hundred square meters, 150 ml of the preparation per 5 liters of water in a ratio of 1:35 is enough.
When using Humisol fertilizer, the yield increases, the incidence of fungal diseases decreases, the interphase development periods are reduced and the taste of eggplants is significantly improved.
