In order to prepare potatoes for stress in the early stages of development and to ensure better rooting, the tubers should be treated with a solution of Humisol biostimulant before planting. This biofertilizer works as a growth stimulant for potatoes.
4-5 days before the end of the vernalization period of early potato tubers, treat them with a solution of Humisol fertilizer by spraying, and then place the planting material under a film or agrofibre. Do not store treated tubers for more than 5 days.
15-20 days after planting, potato seedlings are also sprayed with Humisol. The plant growth regulator Humisol can be combined with plant protection products in a tank mixture, which will enhance the effect of pesticides and work as an antistressant. For example, it is possible to carry out a joint treatment with an insecticide against the Colorado potato beetle. The benefits are double: the number of beetles decreases, and the potato tubers themselves are not affected by scab and late blight.
Double fertilization of potatoes with Humisol will certainly lead to an increase in yield and an increase in the starch content of potatoes, even in difficult weather conditions.
